Emily + Taylor

I met Emily in college while we were both working toward our music degrees. When she asked me to photograph her wedding, I was so honored! July 31st, 2015 was such a fun (and hot) summer day filled with love in the air. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for this special event. With it being known as the first courthouse in Southern California, the Old Orange County Courthouse easily represented the style of this couple. I had some fun photographing Emily prior to the ceremony, while simultaneously keeping her hidden from Taylor. Once it became time to complete the paperwork, we made sure to have both the bride and groom complete it separately, to ensure that the first look would take place down the aisle. Accompanied by their closest friends and family, they had a beautiful ceremony where they exchanged rings and silently read each other’s vows.

The reception was an absolute blast! Hosted in their friend's backyard, it felt like a meaningful and intimate party. The delicious food was provided by Avila’s El Ranchito, and the music had the crowd immediately dancing the night away. A delicious cake and cupcakes by Sharon Chipres were displayed in the front where they enjoyed the first bite and also shared a beautiful toast. It was a very unique, intimate, and romantic wedding that I am glad to have been a part of. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Brooks!

Rolling Stones

Last year I had one of the coolest experiences of my live. I got to sing on stage with the Rolling Stones! The whole thing was such a surreal experience. It all started in April when Dr. Jon Talberg, the music director at Cal State Long Beach, emailed a few of us. He asked us to sing in a chamber group for the Rolling Stones 50th anniversary concert at the Staples Center on May 3rd 2013!

A few weeks later we had their music director come to our school and rehearse the song "You can't always get what you want" a couple of times with us. After that, we were ready! The day of the performance we arrived a few hours early to do sound check and we sang the song a couple of times.

Hope you enjoy the video and some of the pictures I took from the VIP section!

Portland, OR

What an amazing city! First time in Portland and I came back even more in love with nature. From the amazing coffee, to the breath taking hikes - it was such an awesome adventure. Here are some of my favorite pictures I took on that trip:

Rebecca Butkivich

I had the pleasure of photographing my good friend and super talented singer Rebecca Butkivich. I've known Reb for over 4 years and I've had the privilege of performing with her a few times since then (Media). Here are some of the photos I captured that beautiful morning in Laguna Beach at the Moss Point.

Also, stop by her YouTube page and listen to some amazing music!
